Key Tours' sponsorship to TBEX Europe 2014

Oct 13, 2014

The largest annual meeting of the international community of travel bloggers and travel media writers, TBEX, is only a few days away. From the 23rd to the 25th October travel bloggers from all over the world will flock to the Greek capital to discuss, meet each other, get inspired and of course get to know our fascinating city.

Recognizing the importance of this event, Key Tours has joined the sponsors' team, which is going to offer travel bloggers the opportunity to go around Athens and the surrounding areas on a wide range of day tours. For the success of the event, 70 special itineraries and experiences have been designed in order for delegates to explore metropolitan Athens and the whole of Greece and to have the opportunity to experience the high level of services and infrastructure of our country.
Within this framework Key Tours has organized six complementary tours around Athens and to some of the most important archaeological sites in a close distance from Attica, as well.
On the 22nd of October, right before TBEX opens its gates, Key Tours offers four tours around Athens. Attendees will get the chance to visit the New Acropolis Museum, as well as to see some of the most famous attractions in Athens, such as stadium Kallimarmaro, Syntagma Square where the Greek Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier are situated; the National Gardens; the Athens Academy and University; and last but not least the theaters of Herodion and Dionysos.
On the same day those with a passion for history can also join our tour to the Byzantine and Cycladic Art museums. Bloggers who love exploring destinations on foot will be more than pleased to find out that Key Tours' sponsorship also includes a walking tour to the oldest neighborhood of Athens, Plaka, and the picturesque Monastiraki area, on which you'll be able to walk by interesting monuments of the city, such as the Roman Market, the Library of Hadrian or the Old University of Athens that cannot be seen by the traditional coach tour.
Tours outside Athens include Cape Sounion on the 22nd, where visitors will enjoy a beautiful drive along the scenic coastal road which leads to the iconic Temple of Poseidon built right on the edge of the cape's cliff, and the Oracle of Delphi, one of the national treasures of Greece and an UNESCO world heritage monument.
However, as Greece and Athens, in particular, are also famous for the lively nightlife, we couldn't miss to offer our dear guests an Athens By Night experience. On the evening of 25th attendees will enjoy a typical Greek dinner and spent a night like a local!
Acknowledging the effort of the City of Athens to promote our sun drenched country all over the world through the most critical event of the field, Key Tours could only be a proud supporter of this organization, sponsoring a range of tours for people who could potentially spread the news of our valuable product, worldwide!
